The Information System Study Program held a Graduate Learning Outcomes Mapping Workshop and Graduate Profiles of UIB Information System on Saturday, July 24, 2021. This activity was a follow-up session of the OBE Awareness and IABEE Accreditation Workshop on 17 July 2021. This activity was also funded by the Independent Campus Competition Program Grant (PKKM) which was received by UIB by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This workshop was attended by participants from the UIB Information System Study Program curriculum development team and several guests such as other study programs at UIB and STTND Padang. This workshop aims to collect and provide information about the development of Graduate Learning Outcomes and Graduate Profiles of Information System so, they can be under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) learning system. The workshop started with the opening remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Dr. Hendi Sama to welcome the speaker of the workshop, namely Prof. Dra. Sri Hartati, M.Sc., Ph.D. from Gadjah Mada University, a member of the IABEE Executive Commission and Chair of LAM Infokom.
The next activity was followed by a discussion session between the Information System Department and Prof. Sri about the vision and mission as well as the graduate profiles of the Information System Department. Prof. Sri gave a lot of inputs on the vision and mission as well as the Graduation Profile which emphasized the Time-Bound, the linkage of the vision and mission with the graduate profiles, and the mission that must be detailed and specific about the graduate profiles to be achieved. The speaker also emphasized that the graduate profiles must be the answer to the Learning Outcomes (LO) to be achieved and adjusted to the LO Benchmark. To find out the results of the LO, it is necessary to implement the OBE learning system first. Then, it can be a reference in mapping the Course Outcome (CO) to become more appropriate and refer to the appropriate learning materials. Measurement of CO is also the basis for measuring the achievement of Learning Outcomes (CP) that have been planned in the OBE-based RPKPS. In the stages, Prof. Sri explained to firstly determine the OBE-based RPKPS to determine the Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK) and the graduate learning outcomes (CPL). Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) is used to determine CO which will later be included in student assignments and exams. The results of CO are then evaluated on the percentage of achievement which is then used to determine the percentage of achievement of CPL. The results of the Graduate Learning Outcomes evaluation will be followed up for the development in the following year.
