Batam, 03 September 2021 Academic Development Center (ADC) Universitas Internasional Batam held a Plenary Session of Preparatory Lecturers for Odd Semester 2021/2022. This activity was held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 18.30 – 20.30 WIB, attended by 133 participants who are lecturers at the Universitas Internasional Batam. The Plenary Session of Preparatory Lecturers for Odd Semester FY 2021/2022 was held online via Zoom Meeting.
In this activity, the Rector of Universitas Internasional Batam, Dr. Iskandar Itan, said “Many programs are still running, where we both know that students have not been able to go to campus. This, of course, makes us have to do various innovations and creativity to carry out academic and non-academic learning activities. That’s why we carry out various activities, one of which is the digitization of procedures, which of course is very helpful for teaching and learning activities as well as matters related to other administrative activities”.
In addition, to support activities designed by the government, namely MBKM, Mr. Dr. Iskandar Itan said that “the MBKM designed by the Government can also be carried out in partnership with partners in industry and universities. Of course, I invite the ladies and gentlemen to follow the students so that they can join the MBKM Program because the benefits are extraordinary.”
In the implementation of this activity, an announcement was made regarding outstanding lecturers at Batam International University. In the announcement, the outstanding lecturers were divided into five categories, namely MBKM driving lecturers, subject lecturers who received very good assessments from students in the even academic year 2021/2022, UIB lecturers’ research achievements by publishing research results in Scopus indexed international journals, service achievements to the public at the national level, and outstanding lecturers at the university level.
