Batam, 13 December 2023 – The English Language Education Study Program successfully held a drama performance activity titled “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Wednesday, 13 December 2023. It lasted for one hour and thirty minutes. This activity starts from 18.30 to 20.00 WIB and is stored offline in Hall B Fl. 1, Building B, Batam International University.
This drama performance activity is a routine PBI activity every year with the aim of implementing the course being studied by PBI 3rd semester students, namely Foundation of English Literature by lecturer Sir Hendra Nugraha, S.S., M.Hum. In 2023, PBI students from the 6th batch or 2022 will play roles in drama performances. They took the theme “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” which tells a classic romance story in the comedy genre with a cast of 18 people. This activity was attended by English Language Education lecturers and students from Batam International University, both PBI students and from other study programs.
The activity began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Batam International University, Mr. Hendra Nugraha, S.S., M.Hum and Lecturer in English Education.
Entering the core of the activity, namely the performance of the drama entitled A Midsummer Night’s Dream. During the performance, the actors managed to amaze and amaze the audience. After that, the activity ended with an introduction to the drama’s cast, which had been performed and led by Class of 2022 student Diba Yuri M., and then a group photo.
