At Monday, 17 February 2020, UIB held an orientation for Collaborative Learning 2020. This orientation was attended by the visiting KAIT students and professor, Head of IRO Ms. Rahmi Ayunda, Head of UCLC Mr. Hendra Nugraha, IRO staffs, and their appointed buddies.
This program firstly started in 2017. This one-month program will be held from Februiary 15th – March 14th, 2020. I this program total 6 students from KAIT, Japan and 32 students form UIB Information system and 2 students from Information Technology study program will collaborate to learning abiut IT and also KAIT’s students has opportunity to learn about Indonesian culture.
Orientation began with the MC welcoming all participants. Then it was followed by an explanation of the program and rules by the Head of IRO, Ms. Rahmi Ayunda. The orientation was held also as the sign that the Collaborative Learning between UIB and KAIT has officially begin.
The Head of UCLC, Mr. Hendra stepped up next to explain about their schedules while staying in Batam. Their activites include English classes, Bahasa Indonesia classes, visits to various places related to IT. To give an overview of the program, we played a short video of last year’s Collaborative Learning with KAIT. Then the KAIT students and buddies introduced themselves to each other. The orientation was ended with the gifting of souvenirs and a photo session.
