UIB (08/30/2019) – The Bachelor of Accounting Program holds regular programs for new undergraduate accounting students, namely the Matriculation of Accounting. This Matriculation activity aims to make the new students especially those who are not vocational graduates majoring in Accounting know the general picture of the initial lectures they will face in the first semester and recognize the accounting basics that they will learn in the first semester.
This Matriculation Program is an effort to improve the quality of graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting Program. In this case, the Bachelor of Accounting Program focuses on improving the quality of graduates through student orientation activities which are reviewed in the form of matriculation in the 2019/2020 school year. Through this activity, students get a briefing and study tips to build initial competence in the field of financial accounting so that it helps in the academic performance of regular student lectures. In this activity lecturers from the accounting undergraduate program participated, besides that second-year students were also involved as buddy for new students.
“In my opinion, this articulation really helped me to understand what was lacking in my lectures because I learned the basics from high school so I didn’t understand accounting material. With this matriculation, I understand a little about the basics of accounting. “Said Grace Vaustine, one of the 2019/2020 Academic Year Study Program students who took part in the matriculation.
