Tuesday, (12/17/19) UIB Student and Alumni Development Bureau (BPKA) UIB held a meeting with students receiving Academic Achievement Ranking (PPA) scholarships for the year 2019. PPA scholarships are scholarships given by the Higher Education Services Institute (LLDIKTI) Region X to students who meet the applicable terms and conditions. Some of the requirements that must be met to get a PPA Scholarship are a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0, not a scholarship recipient from another institution, at least semester 2, has never violated the discipline of campus life and is active in student organizations.
“This year, the number of UIB students receiving PPA scholarships is 55 people from various undergraduate programs at UIB such as Management, Accounting, Information Systems, Tourism, Civil Engineering, Legal Studies,” said Ridhayati Farid, who is the head (BPKA). PPA scholarship recipient students get a savings book from Bank BTN as a means of disbursing the scholarship funds.
It is hoped that the PPA scholarship can be a motivation for other students to improve student achievement and motivation, both in the academic/curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular fields.
