HMPS Accounting UIB – Saturday (02/15/2020), has finished carrying out the Accounting Fun Games (AFG) with the theme Chinese New Year: Get The Balance Get The Angpao. This event aims to determine the level of understanding of UIB students about Accounting material. In addition, this activity is intended to test the ability of students in answering questions that have been given by HMPS Accounting. Participants in this AFG activity are specifically for 6th semester accounting students. If there are participants who violate rules set by the committee, they will be subject to disqualification from the group. With this activity, it is expected that students can better understand accounting learning material because it is done interactively.
The number of participants who took part in the event was 102 participants divided into 34 teams. In one group consists of 3 students. Accounting Fun Games start at 08.00 WIB until finish. This activity was divided into several sessions. Session 1 is a multiple choice, session 2 is an adventure game, session 3 is an accounting cycle, session 4 is a big game, session 5 is a smart quiz, and the last session 6 is a debate where both teams give their opinions to each other regarding the specified material. This activity was carried out in Hall B building, which used a room from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor.
Each session, the committee will announce participants who qualify for the next round and each participant is given a break for 15 minutes to eat and pray. After the break the activity starts again. At 17:45 the judge gave the announcement of the group that had reached the highest score. This activity ends at 18:30.
“The activities are quite exciting but also tired because I have to run while,” said Rizky Rahmatullah. “It is very challenging, this activity is not only focused on answering questions but must finish the game first. It was a bit unfocused so I couldn’t answer the problem optimally. Even though we didn’t win but at least have fun for today to relieve stress “the impression from one of the participants in Accounting Fun Games.
This activity is a routine HMPS Accounting activity that will be held every year with a different concept. One of the expectations from the implementation of this activity is to support the learning activities of students in the Accounting Study Program.
