Batam, January 28th, 2020 – Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan and Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) conducted a Joint Research for Industrial Design program. This program focused on Architecture Study Program of UIB and Industrial Department of MCUT and was held for about 4 (four) months, starting from September 2020 until January 2021.
The Joint Research program engages 5 (five) students of Architecture Study Program to conduct a research that was supervised by MCUT and UIB lecturers. To officially close the program, it was held a Student Webinar in which the students were given an opportunity to present their research results. The webinar was held on Friday, January 15th, 2021. After the presentation, both UIB and MCUT lecturers gave feedback and suggestions for the students.
The outcome of this research is surely a publication of research article for Architecture students. Therefore, this program is expected to not only to enrich students with knowledge, but also to achieve target of students’ publication and/or dissemination.
