Internal UMA 2021 “Be Creative Entrepreneurs as Pillars of Changes in Digital Era” was held on Saturday, March 6, 2021. This activity is an annual activity organized by Management Student Organization (ORMEGA) to train the academic abilities of active students of the Bachelor of Management Program at Universitas Internasional Batam. UMA Internal 2021 was attended by 313 people consisting of 262 active Management Study Program students from semester 1 to semester 6, 43 committees, and 3 judges from lecturers in Financial Management (Dr. Hesniati, SE, MM), Marketing Management ( Dr. Lady, SE, MM), and also Human Resource Management (Dr. Antony Sentoso, SE, MM).
In UMA Internal 2021 there are 4 academic competition sessions as well as non-academic competitions followed by participants who have failed in the previous session. The 1st place in the academic competition was won by the “Makmur” team consisting of Lydia Desrita, Febry Supriyanto, and Kelvin Hendra Lim. 2nd place was won by the “Silent Killer” group consisting of Shinta Dewi, Kristina, and Jeslin. The 3rd place winner was the “DoubleS” group consisting of Jennifer, Kelvin, Rico Kartono. Non-academic champions were awarded to the 3 groups with the highest points in the games session and won by the “No Brain” group (Owen, Chicha Rosha, and Jason Jerico), the SOVEHA group (Hadi Nanto, Soecipto, Verlyn Evajelista), and the “Bad Genius” group (Marina, Lionisa Verlinsya, and Susanti). Not to forget, UMA Internal 2021 also held a social media competition which was won again by the “No Brain” group.
Even though the 2021 UMA Internal activities must be carried out online through the Zoom Meeting application unlike the previous year. This did not become a barrier for the committee to keep the enthusiasm for preparing to organize the 2021 UMA Internal activities. The enthusiasm of the committee also increase the enthusiasm of the participants from the beginning to the end activities.
