March 28, 2021 – Islamic Student Activity Unit of Universitas Internasional Batam celebrated the 9th Milad Musisy with the theme of “Strengthening Islamic Commitment and Brotherhood”. The Covid-19 pandemic, which is still in existence, has made all events that should be held face-to-face, forcing event organizers to organize their events with new provisions via online.
This activity was held on March 28, 2021 via online and Teams platform. Due to circumstances that made it impossible to meet in person, the committee decided to celebrate the anniversary virtually with all of you. This anniversary activity was attended by 143 participants. Participants who took part in this event consisted of 133 UIB Muslim students and 13 Milad MUSISY committee members.
This event invited Mr. Andi Kurniawan A.Md., as the speaker at this MUSISY event. He is an alumna of Universitas Internasional Batam and none other than he was the head of the MUSISY in the 2012-2013 period. In addition, this event was filled with a series of activities such as recitations, remarks, joint prayers, tausiyah, viewing of nasyid videos, and closed with closings and prayers.
This Milad MUSISY activity aims to strengthen the relationship between Muslim members and students and to motivate the younger generation of Islam to participate in the struggle to uphold the religion of Allah SWT.
Meanwhile, this activity was coordinated directly by Muhammad Andi Wahyudi as the General Chairperson of the Muslim Society, Universitas Internasional Batam.
This activity ran smoothly, from the opening of the event to the closing. We hope that this event will further strengthen the relationship between organizational management and UIB students. We also hope that the material presented will be useful in the future.
