Batam, 14 December 2023 – Batam International University (UIB) won the prestigious Silver Winner for Private Higher Education award at the 2023 DIKTIRISTEK Award. This prestigious award was recognized for UIB’s extraordinary contribution in reporting the best collaboration throughout Indonesia.
The DIKTIRISTEK Award is an annual awards event held by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (DIKTIRISTEK) to give appreciation to private and state universities that have succeeded in creating innovation and can perform well in various fields.
Deputy Chancellor of Batam International University,Dr. Hepy Hefri Ariyanto, S.E., M.M. , expressed his pride in this achievement. “This award results from the hard work of the entire UIB academic community, who have been highly dedicated to managing cooperation reports. We are committed to continuing to contribute to increasing cooperation both at home and abroad in the future,” said Dr. Hepy Hefri Ariyanto, S.E., M.M.
At this event, there are ten sub-awards given to PTN and PTS, including the National Priority Award, Diktistek Program Supporting Collaboration Partner Award, Learning and Student Affairs Award, Gift of Resources; Institutional Awards, Research Awards, and Community Service; Higher Education Database Award; Public Relations Award; Cooperation Award; and the Journalist and Media Award.
This Silver Winner award shows that UIB has successfully competed and listed itself as one of the prestigious universities in Indonesia. With this achievement, UIB will continue to improve itself, play an active role in the development of science and technology, and positively impact society.
