On August 15, 2021, the Information System Study Program held an OBE-based Curriculum Development Evaluation with IABEE standards. This activity is a form of follow-up to the development process which has started on July 17, 2021. The entire process is funded by the Kampus Merdeka Competition Program Grant which was received by UIB by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This evaluation was carried out with the help of Prof. Dra. Sri Hartati, M.Sc., Ph.D. from Gadjah Mada University, one of the members of the IABEE Executive Commission and the Head of LAM Infokom who from the beginning has directed the Information Systems Study Program team.
The process of curriculum development is quite a lot, starting from aligning the Vision and Mission; determining the profile of graduates (which also require input from local, national, and international industry colleagues), CPL formulation; mapping of study materials to CPL, eye formulations lectures, assessment methods with CPL contributions, course structure, and course mapping. According to Prof. Sri, the process undertaken by the Information Systems Study Program team has gone in the right direction and can describe the implementation of OBE within the Information Systems Study Program; although, there are still some developments that need to be done, such as calculating study materials according to weighting and weekly plans to show the position of each assessment. In addition, she also reminded us about quality management related to the implementation of OBE and the need for changes and standard statements that need to be redefined to ensure the smooth implementation of OBE. She also approved the next action by the Information System Study Program to immediately make a general statement to immediately implement the full OBE within the UIB Information System Study Program. The activity will be held on August 21, 2021, and invites stakeholders from Information Systems Study Program.
