The Muslim Society general meeting for the 2021/2022 period has been held by UKM Musisy UIB, precisely on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 12.30-16.00 WIB through online meeting media (Microsoft Teams). This event is held annually in the context of the plenary session and the election of the general chairman of the Musisy UKM for the 2022/2023 period. The event was started by the moderator and then handed over to the Presidium I who would read out the trial rules to be discussed with the trial participants. Then the Musisy Daily Management Board for the 2021/2022 Period starting from the General Chair, General Secretary, General Treasurer to the division heads in the Musisy UKM read the Work Program Accountability Report during the term of office.
The event then continued with the reading of the AD/ART (Budgets and Household Budgets) of UKM Musisy which was approved by the session participants. After that, the event entered the vision and mission presentation session of the two candidates for the chairman of the Musisy UKM for the 2022/2023 period with the number one candidate, namely Indra Afgha Anjani and Muhammad Mahastar Ritongga who both came from the Law Science Study Program. The election of the chairman at the Musisy UKM big meeting this year used the voting method. Session participants consisting of active members of the Musisy UKM exercised their right to vote for this year’s General Chair election. Based on the results of the voting taken during the General Meeting, Indra Afgha Anjani was appointed as the elected general chairman for the 2022/2023 period. The session closed with congratulations and prayers to the elected Chairman so that he can carry out his mandate well during the term of office.
The general meeting event ran effectively despite experiencing several obstacles in the series of events that were carried out from start to finish. Hopefully, with the implementation of this event and also with the election of the Chairperson of the Musisy UKM for the 2022/2023 period, it can provide goodness to Musisy and muslim students at Universitas Internasional Batam.
