Batam, 4 December 2023 – The Institute for Research and Community Service at Batam International University (UIB) and the Institute for Research and Community Service at Padang University College of Industrial Technology (STTINDP) have collaborated to improve work programs and grant program accountability. These two higher education institutions officially launched the collaborative project at an online memorandum of understanding signing event.
This collaboration program aims to improve the quality of study programs at both universities and strengthen accountability regarding the use of grant funds to support research and development. During the signing ceremony, UIB Vice Chancellor 3, Dr. Hepy Hefri Ariyanto and Chief Executive of STTIND Padang, Dr. Ir. Asep Neris Bachtiar, M.SI., M.Eng, expressed their commitment to supporting each other and advancing the fields of education and research.
One of the main points of this collaboration is improving study program work programs and grant program accountability. Establishing cooperation between these two universities will make it easier to implement the planned agenda.
In addition, the implemented grant program will follow strict accountability standards by forming a monitoring and evaluation team. This university is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in using grant funds by providing regular reports to organisers and the community.
Leaders attended the event, lecturers from both universities and representatives from the organisers who also witnessed this meeting. Both universities hope that this collaboration can become a model for other higher education institutions that want to improve quality and positively impact society.
