Educator certification aims to fulfill the need to improve professional competence. The certification process is seen as an essential part of the effort to obtain competency certificates according to predetermined standards. Educator certification is a process of competency testing for prospective educators who plan to gain recognition and / or improve competence according to their chosen profession. Representation of the fulfillment of competency standards that have been stipulated in the teacher certification is an educator certificate.
This certificate is a proof of recognition of the competence of educators or prospective educators who meet the standards for carrying out professional teaching work at certain types and levels of education. Therefore the Academic Development Center held a training and certification for Microsoft Certified Educators (MCE) on Monday – Wednesday / April 5 – 7, 2021 with Aan Andriawan, S.Pd., MT as the Head Committee, Haeruddin, S.Kom., M.M.S.I & Tony Wibowo, S.Kom., M.M.S.I as instructors in this activity.
This activity was carried out offline in the A211 Computer Lab with 11 permanent lecturers of UIB. Therefore, the Microsoft Certified Educators (MCE) Training activities was carried out and are running smoothly.
