Higher education is obliged to carry out education, research, and community service as mandated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education Article 20. Research in tertiary institutions is directed at developing science and technology, as well as improving community welfare and national competitiveness as explained in Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education Articles 45 and 46.
Thus, the Academic Development Center (ADC) held a Webinar “Implementation of Research as One of Three Pillars of Higher Education: Strategy to Pass SINTA (Accepted or Rejected)” on Friday, March 26, 2021, 16.00 – 17.00. This webinar was conducted online using zoom with the speaker Sholahuddin Al-Fatih, S.H., M.H. (UMM Faculty of Law Lecturer & Sinta Journal Manager 2) and the moderator Aan Andriawan, M.T as ADC UIB.
Each university is expected to be able to manage research that meets the standards described in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards related to the scope and explanation of National Research Standards, including: 1) Research results standards, 2) Standard research content, 3) Research process standards, 4) Research assessment standards, 5) Researcher Standards, 6) Standard of Research Facilities and Infrastructure, 7) Research management standards, and 8) Research funding and financing standards.
From the description above, ADC UIB held a Webinar with the theme ” Implementation of Research as One of Three Pillars of Higher Education: Strategy to Pass SINTA (Accepted or Rejected)” which is expected by participating this webinar, it can help lecturers to be able to optimally implement their research as one of Three Pillars of Higher Education.
