The Management Study Program of Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) on Friday, August 13, 2021, held the Finalization of the Assessment Rubric, Assessment Plan, and Draft CPM. The activity funded by the Kampus Merdeka Competition Program (PKKM) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) was attended by all lecturers of the UIB Management Study Program Curriculum Development Team, the Academic Center Development Bureau (ADC), and lecturers from other study programs and bureaus in UIB. In this finalization, Management Study Program invited resource persons, namely BM Purwanto, MBA, Ph.D. to guide and assist the team in developing the Management Study Program curriculum. This activity aims to finalize the design for the development of the assessment rubric, assessment plan, and CPMK that has been prepared by the Management Study Program curriculum team. In his presentation, the resource person explained that in compiling the assessment rubric, lecturers need to consider Learning Outcomes (CP) in terms of several categories such as, How: how to measure and instrument, Where: subject or outside the course, When: in what semester and How many: how many years of application.

BM Purwanto, MBA, Ph.D. explained that in the preparation of Learning Outcomes must also be based on theories and concepts and then enter the rubrics and questionnaires. The rubric must be related to the case if it is about ethics and into the exam questions if it concerns knowledge and skills. Each course must be adjusted to the level of learning achievement to be achieved as well as general practices which have their own level of needs. Likewise, the study material to be used must contain the CP and GP to be achieved. The study materials used must also really support the implementation of the learning later. BM Purwanto, MBA, Ph.D. also gave a message that in compiling courses it is better not to be too industrial but designed as best as possible so that the learning system can develop and run according to the outcomes that should have been planned. Outcomes are also expected to be structured as systematically as possible so that later they can provide an evaluation for the development of a learning system that is more output-oriented. Of course, all of these inputs will also support the assessment plan and CPMK draft that are more in line with outcome-based education (OBE) in the Management Study Program and UIB in the future.
