MBKM Management Strategy Forms Learning Activities Entrepreneurial Activities

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology issued the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) policy. MBKM gives students the right to be able to do learning outside the campus according to the preferences of the students for 1 to 2 semesters. There are 8 forms of MBKM offered, namely student exchanges, internships/work practices, teaching assistance, research/research, humanitarian projects, entrepreneurial activities, independent studies/projects, village building/thematic real work courses. Of the 8 forms of learning activities (BKP), UIB Tourism Study Program will implement one of the activities, namely, entrepreneurial activities.

The activity was held on July 7, 2021 and attended by 80 participants from all universities, colleges, institutes, and academies in Indonesia. The participants expected to learn together regarding the implementation of BKP-Entrepreneurial Activities. This activity was carried out together with Sociopreneur Indonesia, with resource persons Dessy Aliandrina, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D. Mrs. Dessy explained that the basic thing that universities must do in preparing a curriculum for entrepreneurship is to clarify the university’s mindset towards entrepreneurial activities and the output targets to be achieved in this BKP, whether to build a business, expand a business, or just have a business. There are 4 stages in carrying out entrepreneurial activities, namely the planning stage, the innovation stage, the creating stage, and the communication stage. For the implementation of BKP-Entrepreneurial Activities which is carried out in 2 semesters, the credits offered are 20-40 credits with the output of the program are being a commercial innovation.
