Recently, Ministry of Education and Culture is promoting the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) in the higher education. UIB surely implements the policy by participating in some grants related to Kampus Merdeka. Apparently, UIB won Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) and is working on that project. Information System Department-UIB is one of the departments who won that grant.
Regarding the implementation of MBKM Policy, each university needs to have partners both domestic and foreign partners to implement the policy. Therefore, Information System Deparment-UIB is planning to collaborate with foreign partners to conduct an online course. On Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, Information System Department invited King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi – Thailand and Ming Chi University of Technology – Taiwan to an online meeting to discuss future possible online collaboration.
The head of Information System Department of UIB initiated to collaborate on Short Movie Project with the participants and lecturers from the three universities (UIB, KMUTT, and MCUT). The projects were welcomed by KMUTT and MCUT. After long discussion, we plan to start the program on September 18th to November 13th, 2021. The three universities are now starting to promote the program and recruit the students.
