Quo Vadis Talk Show: Implementation of Implementing Regulations in the Omnibus Law Employment Cluster

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Internasional Batam in collaboration with the Indonesian Labor Inspector Association DPD Kepri held a Talkshow “Quo Vadis Implementation of Implementing Regulations in the Employment Cluster Omnibus Law, Law No. 11 of 2020, and Optimization of BP Jamsostek Services”. This activity was carried out online through the Zoom platform. Activities were held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, starting from 09.00 am-12.00 pm. This activity aims to strengthen cooperation between the Master of Laws at Universitas Internasional Batam and the DPD of the Indonesian Labor Inspectors Association, Riau Islands Province. The activity is used as a discussion forum to get input related to problems that can arise in the implementation of the Omnibus Law employment cluster. This activity was moderated by Rahmi Ayunda, SH., MH as the Head of the Law Science Study Program and presented 5 (five) speakers, namely Dyah Hartanti Purwitasari, SH., M.Hum (Coordinator of Labor Relations Norms Supervision and Union Protection of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia); Proof of Rantau, ST (Labor Inspector and Associate Expert of the Riau Islands Manpower and Transmigration Office); Hendra Gunadi, SE (Mediator of Batam Manpower Office), Eko Yuyulianda (Head of BP Jamsostek Batam Nagoya Branch Office) and Dr. F. Yudhi Priyo Amboro, SH., M.Hum (Lecturer of Universitas Internasional Batam). This activity was attended by students and workers with the total of 98 participants. It is hoped that this activity can provide information and knowledge based on the concept and direction of policies related to the Omnibus Law workforce cluster, especially at the level of implementing regulations.
