Batam, July 8-18th, 2021 Accounting Bachelor Program of Universitas Internasional Batam held the SAP Edugate AC040 Management Accounting module certification. This activity aims to increase students’ knowledge about management accounting and its integration in ERP systems. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a software that enables companies to: (1) automate and integrate many business processes (2) share databases and business best practices across departments across the company, and (3) produce up-to-date information. With this ERP, it will quickly detect problems and allow decision making for faster solutions, so that the possibility of company losses can be minimized. One of the ERP software intended for education is SAP Edugate.
The activity was attended by totally 83 participants from the accounting department. By this activity, students can gain experience and additional skills to compete in the global era. The SAP AC040 instructors are lecturers of Accounting Bachelor Program of UIB, namely Mrs. Arina, Str. Account., M.M., Rudi Candra, S.Ak and Serly, S.E., M.M.
