(01/13/2020) – Dessert is a set menu that is presented or served at the end or often referred to as a dessert. The last dish issued is to eliminate the taste from dishes that have been served before. Usually, the dessert is often also called the final courses and usually always has a sweet taste. Another name for dessert can also be called dessert.

The Showing Your Passion Through The Art of Dessert activity is carried out to increase students’ insights in serving dessert that is expected to be under the passion of the students themselves. Lots of good and beautiful platting dessert can be learned and this is one way to increase students’ insights to present a beautiful and unique dessert.

This activity was carried out together with Chef Gunawan as Nestlé Chocolate Chef Ambassador and moderated by Dr. Oda I. B. Hariyanto. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Dr. Agustina Fitrianingrum and attended by students of Tourism PS and Universitas Internasional Batam lecturer colleagues. Chef Gunawan gave a message to students that Attitude and Skills are important in the world of work, he likes to do things differently and be inspired from anywhere including the tree in front of the restaurant where he works in Australia, being inspired by the tree in front of the restaurant can make a memorable menu is the Forbidden Tree.
