Batam, July 22nd, 2021, Higher education transformation policy through the Kampus Merdeka program aims to provide opportunities for students to hone their abilities and talents, so that they are ready to become professionals in a field and give every student the right to be active by studying for 1 semester in other study programs or 2 semesters outside of higher education institutions in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education (SN Dikti).
The Bachelor of Accounting Program at Universitas Internasional Batam underlines the granting of rights to every student to engage in activities and study outside the study program. The Bachelor of Accounting Program held a “Socialization of MBKM for Accounting Study Program” which aims to prepare students to take part in the MBKM program. The socialization was attended by 133 participants and lasted for 1.5 hours starting from 19.30 to 21.00 WIB. The event was hosted by Mrs. Sari Dewi, S.E., M.Ak. as moderator and coordinator of MBKM for independent study program. The resource persons for this socialization were Mr. M. Taufik, S.E., M.A., M.Ak, (Head of UIB Accounting Undergraduate Program) and Mrs. Desty Febria, S.Pd., M.TESOL (UIB MBKM Coordinator).
