Batam (9/3/2021) – Universitas Internasional Batam is committed to producing graduates that can meet dynamic global changes. UIB is not only improves the quality of graduates, but also bridges them into the world of work. So that since the beginning studies until becoming a graduate, all preparations are made academically and non-academically as well as increased collaboration with the industrial.
In order to bridge students and alumni of UIB to enter the industrial world, UIB collaborates with PT. Bintan Alumina Indonesia on March 8, 2021. This collaboration is outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and signed and agreed upon by both parties.
PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia is a company from China located in the Galang Batang Special Economic Zone (KEK), Bintan Regency, Riau Islands. PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia (PT.BAI) is engaged in aluminum processing and smelters. This company need as many as qualify human resources to develop and extend the company. Human resource have to capable in various fields with different scientific backgrounds. So, this collaboration eligible for UIB students and graduates from various study programs.
We expected through collaboration, this company provide benefits to students and alumni so that they can be absorbed by the industrial world. The massive absorption of the UIB graduates who have good competence, hard skills and soft skills by industry, illustrate the quality of UIB graduates. (PR)
