UIB MANAGEMENT ACADEMIC (UMA) 2021 External “Be Creative Entrepreneurs as Pillars of Changes in Digital Era” was successfully implemented on April 25, 2021 properly and smoothly by UIB Management HMPS. Participants in this activity consisted of students from all over Indonesia who are currently undergoing a Bachelor of Management Program, with a total of 15 students from Universitas Internasional Batam, 9 students from Nusa Putra University, 3 students from Universitas Nasional Karangturi Semarang, and 3 students. from Parahyangan Catholic University. This competition was also attended by 43 committee members and 3 judges, namely lecturers / management experts from Universitas Internasional Batam consisting of Dr. Wisnu Yuwono, S.E., M.M.; Robin, Ph.D.; and Erilia Kesumahati, S.E, M.M ..
In connection with the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and compliance with Health protocols, the UIB Management Academic (UMA) 2021 External activities are carried out online using remote online media with the help of the Zoom application as a whole so as to prevent in-person meetings and gatherings of large numbers of people.
UIB Management Academic (UMA) 2021 External was carried out in 4 academic competition sessions, consisting of Question, Millionaire, Commentary, and Debate which resulted in 3 of the xx teams winning the achievements of the National level academic competition. The winner is entitled to receive cash prizes, namely 1st place winner of Rp. 1,750,000, 2nd place is IDR 1,500,000 and 3rd place is IDR 1,250,000 along with the title of the winner. Do not forget to also organize a Social Media competition session which awards a total cash prize of IDR 150,000 for 3 individual participants who post the most unique photos and highlight the characteristics of the participant’s own campus with the Twibbon format provided by the committee. In addition, participants who have been eliminated in the initial session will hold a separate Games session which will also award a total cash prize of IDR 150,000 for the 3 teams who won the two Games sessions held.
UIB Management Academic (UMA) 2021 External brought 3 teams to the winning stage, including 1st place winner from the Gas Continue team consisting of Besariani Rakhmawati, Gegy Miola, and Salma Fadhillah Sugandi; 2nd winner from the Gaok team consisting of Ardani Nur Istiqomah, Geraldus Tegar M., and Nila Fransiska; and 3rd place winner from the Snow Wolf team consisting of Hendri Gunawan, Ricky Handerson, and Stanley Frenovsky Leowardi. Meanwhile, non-academic champions were awarded to the team that managed to collect the highest points in the Games session which was won by Sururi’Alief from the Roar team; Sindi Nabila from the Conservis team; and Dio Azriel Akbar Kusnadi from the Roar team. Finally, the winners for Social Media consisted of Sururi’Alief from the Roar team, Shinta Dewi from the Silent Killer team, and Haikal Abdallah from the Roar team.
