Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) succeeded in achieving achievements in the Kampus Merdeka Competition Program (PKKM) organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti). On Monday (7/6), the Directorate General of Higher Education announced the winner of the government assistance for the Kampus Merdeka Competition Program (PKKM) for the 2021 Fiscal Year.
Universitas Internasional Batam as one of the universities participating in this competition and being part of the 2021 PKKM the 3rd League scheme, proposes 2 study programs including the Management and Information Systems study program. This funding assistance is intended for 142 universities that have passed the selection. The details of the PKKM grant recipient universities are 31 universities with 85 study programs in the 1st League, 46 universities with 102 study programs in The 2nd League, and 65 universities with 97 study programs in the 3rd League.
The Rector of Universitas Internasional Batam, Dr. Iskandar Itan, said that this achievement was the result of the hard work of all elements within the UIB in supporting the achievement of the Merdeka Campus and in order to improve the competence of graduates, as well as the quality and relevance of curriculum and learning; also in order to prepare international accreditation for Universitas Internasional Batam, especially the Management undergraduate program and Information Systems undergraduate program.
